How does a Camera capture an image??

The first major component of a camera is the lens.both manual and digital cameras have lenses that work in same way.As you knw lens is of two types i.e convex lens and concave lens.but we always prefer convex lens in case of cameras because convex lens converge the beam of light,we need to focus at single point.

Two types of camera:-

1.Digital Camera

2.Manual Camera

Working of Digital camera:-The photo in the digital camera are ready in the digital format which can computer can easily recognize(0 & 1).The 0's and 1's in a digital camera are kept as string of tiny dots called pixels.

         The image sensor used in digital camera which can convert ight signal into electrical charges can either be charged coupled device(CCD) or a CMOS(complementary metal oxide semi conductor).

Working of Manual Camera:- Base is a film whose one side is glossy(shining) and second side is emulsion.

since picture form on emulsion side because emulsion is a mixture of so many chemicals like H2O(water)+Silver Halide+Gelatin.Emulsion form the image when light passes through lens and falls on emulsion.It will form the image which is called latent image(which is not visible) and further this latent image is to be developed in developer.Since developer is a mixture of so many chemicals and then we have to rinse the film and then again we put this film in the Sodiumthiosulphate solution and then we will get the prominent image which form on negative.
